Wojciech Bógdał on the podium

Paramotorist, student of the Warsaw University of Technology, Branch in Plock won a gold medal during the World Games Wrocław 2017.

-  It’s a great joy for me – said Wojciech Bógdał during the interview with Polsat Sport. – I was preparing very strictly for this challenge for almost a year. I even resigned from the Europe Championship.

On the 23rd  of July, Wojciech Bógdał could let his all tough memories go, having a gold medal on his neck. This is the first such precious prize won by Poles, during the championship. Bógdał was joined on the medal podium by Marcin Biernat who took bronze and Thailand’s Kittiphop Phrommat who claimed silver.

It is worth to remember that it’s not the first success of our student. He is already a world champion and a Europe champion.

During the World Games athletes compete in 33 disciplines, which are not played during the Olympic Games. The World Games was organized for the first time in 1981. It is also a unique opportunity to create the conditions for developing physical activity – both for younger and older people. The event is held in Wrocław from 20 to 30 of July.
